SnoreRX ReviewWelcome to our honest, in-depth SnoreRX Review! As you may already know after reading our guide on choosing the best snoring mouthpiece, not all anti-snoring devices are created equally. Some are created to address certain areas such as the tongue or the jaw.

Some were created by individuals who were looking for solutions, while medical practitioners who saw a need for these devices created others. There are also a few that garner attention and are recommended by other medical professionals.

SnoreRx is one of those products.

However, before you go ahead and make a purchase, we want to ensure that you have as much information possible on the device so you can see if it will be the right fit for your snoring needs.  We ended up writing down this comprehensive SnoreRx review – and we hope you’ll find useful.

Here’s a closer look.

SnoreRx Review – What Is SnoreRx?

SnoreRx utilizes Jaw Advancement Calibration like never before.

With many snorers, the problem often stems from the position of their jaw.  A slight repositioning of the jaw in a more forward and pronounced position, allows the snoring sufferer to open up their airway.

This opening of the airway reduces the snoring by creating more space for the individual to be able to breathe.

Luckily, there are several devices on the market that reposition the jaw as you sleep, however the positioning can cause some pain and also discomfort, if it is not calibrated to the right measurement.

While some devices like the ones mentioned can calibrate, it typically does so in several clicks or movements.  These movements are not as specifically precise as they could be, which although can help with the snoring, may cause some other problems with the jaw.

Where SnoreRx differs, is in the precision calibration of the mouth guard.SnoreRX Review - Calibration

SnoreRx is the only mouth guard that can offer specific calibration of the device in 1 millimeter increments.  This Jaw Advancement Calibration will allow you to get the most specific measurement for your needs to help with your snoring, while still being able to give you the most comfort because of the offered precision.

It has been shown clinically that over extending your jaw can lead to, and cause, TMJ and pain, which is what makes this type of calibration even more attractive.

How Does SnoreRx Work?

Before discussing how SnoreRx works, you will first need to get it fitted for your mouth.  In order to do so and to get the best fit possible, you will need several things:

  1. Non-metal cup
  2. Timer
  3. Spatula or tongs
  4. Bowl of room temperature water

Using a microwave you will bring a cup of water to a boil, then will submerge the SnoreRx in the cup of water for 90 seconds.  Once the time is up, you can remove it using the spatula or tongs and transfer it to the room temperature water for two to three seconds.

Remove the SnoreRx and bite down on it firmly for 30 seconds to create the custom fit.  Once the time is up, put it into a bowl of room temperature water once again for another 60 seconds to set the compression.

If you are unable to get the fit you would like, you can redo the process up to three times to get the impression and fit that you require.  Once you get the fit you want, you are now able to use SnoreRx.

You simply wear the device as you sleep and the custom mouthpiece will stop your snoring.  If you notice that you are still snoring after a few days at the setting of 3 millimeters, then you will need to adjust the device to a higher setting.

You will want to give the device some time at each setting.  For example, if you find that you need to adjust the mouthpiece by 1 millimeter, you will need to give it at least three to five days to see if it is the right measurement before adjusting again.

The setting on the side of the device will show you what measurement it is calibrated at so you know where you are at all times.  Both sides of the device should always display the same setting.

How Does SnoreRx Differ From Other Anti-Snoring Devices?

Click to visit FAQ section on the SnoreRX website

SnoreRx is similar, but different from some of the other devices on the market.

The SnoreRx focuses solely on the positioning of your jaw.  While others will focus on the tongue and the jaw or just the tongue or the jaw, SnoreRx takes a closer look at the jaw itself.

Now, you will find other devices out there that allow you to adjust the position of the mouthpiece manually by using some type of tool or even by sliding the actual pieces, as is the case with the SnoreRx.

However, where the SnoreRx really makes strides and separates itself from the rest of the pack is in the calibration of its measurement.  With extremely accurate and precise measurements in the range of millimeters, you will be able to get the exact (that’s no exaggeration) fit that you need.

If you are still snoring and you know that your snoring is being caused by the position of your jaw, then all you will need to do is recalibrate by increasing 1 millimeter at a time every few days until you find the measurement that’s right for you.

There are many other mandibular devices that call for you to wear them at night, that will also move your jaw forward, but you will not find one (at least at the time of this writing) like the SnoreRx and its precision calibration system.

Is SnoreRx Right For You?

This question is truly different from user to user.  The first thing to identify is what is causing your snoring problems.

If other areas such as your tongue are causing your snoring, then this may not be the best device for you to check out.  In that case you may want to see the Zyppah or even Good Morning Snore Solution.

If you are fairly certain that it is your jaw, or if a medical professional has determined that using a mandibular device such as the SnoreRx can alleviate your snoring, then this may be the right fit for you.

If you are also concerned about TMJ or other issues that may arise using these kinds of devices, then you may want to try this one out as it will give you the most precision calibration possible.  This means that you will be able to find the perfect setting to help with your snoring, while still being able to reduce the risk of other problems such as TMJ or jaw pain.

The only way for you to decide if this is the right device for you is to get to the root cause of your snoring, and just giving it a try to see for yourself.

What Are Doctors, Dentists And Sleep Labs Saying About SnoreRx?

SnoreRx What Dentist SayWhile it is important to see what actual users of the device are saying, it’s also good to get information from other professionals in the field.  Here is what three of them had to say.

The President of a Dental Lab said that there are three criteria in which they grade a dental lab quality device.  It needs to  be able to make a custom fit impression, must allow for precise micro-adjustment and must not have any hardware, screws or nuts.  These three can be found in the SnoreRx.

A Board Certified Doctor in Sleep Medicine had this to say about similar devices.  He mentioned that devices that can be micro calibrated to what the patient or individual needs, have had a proven track record and history when it comes to the effectiveness of the device in treating snoring.

A Periodontist mentioned the custom fit and ability to precisely calibrate the device to meet the needs of the individual.  He went on to say  that he would never prescribe an oral appliance that did not have this to offer.

As you can see, there are several medical doctors and professionals who applaud this calibration technology.

Now let’s see what actual users are saying.

SnoreRx Reviews: What Are Actual Users Saying?

We’ll take a look at two different sets of reviews.  The first will be from the product’s website, while the other will be from other third party sites online.

Product Website Testimonials:

One uSnoreRx Reviewsser reported that her husband was checked and did not have sleep apnea, but did have a deviated septum, which causes him to snore no matter how he is positioned in the bed.  It had gotten so bad that they began to sleep in different rooms, with her wearing earplugs.

In fact, when they visit other family he is asked to sleep downstairs while everyone sleeps upstairs so they cannot hear the loud snoring.  Upon using the device she mentioned his snoring had stopped.

Another user who lives with a snorer reported being able to sleep in the same room once again thanks to this device stopping the snoring.

Yet another user reported being hesitant to purchase this device as another one that was purchased did not work.  After looking at SnoreRx reviews she decided to give it a try, resigning herself to the fact that this would be the last anti-snoring device she would try.  To her surprise, after getting used to the device, it actually worked as advertised.

SnoreRx Reviews From Other Websites:

While the official product’s website can control what SnoreRx reviews to post, what we wanted to do was take a look at individual reviewers.   Not much could be found at sites like Amazon, so we took to other reviewers and what they had to say.

One reviewer mentioned that while the fit was customized and breathing can be had through the mouth with the device in your mouth, what is not appealing is the fact that you will drool while you wear it.

Another reviewer liked that the device was cleared by the FDA and certified by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), but what they didn’t like was the drooling and the fact that those who have dentures can’t wear it.

Yet another independent reviewer mentioned it as one of the best out there, citing the 30 day guarantee, long product lifespan and the calibrator as being among some of the top reasons to get it.

As you can see, there are many who like the product but there are some who have mentioned that the drooling that comes with it may be one of the more unappealing features.
