Hi! I just found your website. I live in an apartment with very young, entitled people. Mostly 25-35. Bass from an $8,000.00 surround-sound system is VERY HARD to kill with earplugs. Dogs running above my head and barking, all hours of the night. Parties. Domestic Violence. I have tried multiple earplugs so hands down, short of selling my car to purchase BOSE Noise-Cancelling Headphones, which ear plugs would you suggest- Moldex or Hearos? Or, is there anything else out there you could recommend. Thank you! By the way, the last tenants took me 5 years and one month and nearly 900 calls to police and patrol to evict. Today, new neighbors, two little kids, next month, who knows……….

Both Moldex 6800 and Hearos are good choices – they have noise reduction rating (NRR) of 33, which is the highest possible. You may also want to wear earmuffs together with earplugs for best effect – such combo should help to reduce unwanted noise even better. Check out our ear muffs guide here. Hope this helps!
